On the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, Tirumala Balaji temple has set a new all time record when it comes to Hundi collections.
The temple Hundi collections on the 2nd January was a staggering Rs 7.68 crore which is the highest ever tally recorded in a single day.
The temple saw enormous crowds on the holy occasion of Ekadasi and likewise, the Hundi collections also touched a new peak.
The previous highest record for the highest Hundi collections are Rs 6.31 crore which was recorded on the 23rd of October last year.
The Rs 7.68 crore donated by devotees to the Srivari Hundi on the 2nd of January now stands tall in regard to the highest single day donations.
It is known that TTD is recording substantially higher revenues over the past few years. The Hundi collections are also on a high now.
