Three Golden Chances Missed by JaganOpposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is in the middle of a Maha Padayatra skipped the Assembly Session in the name of Boycott against the Defections. But this has emerged as a big self-goal for the party as it has missed three big chances.

The first is the Boat Accident in Vijayawada which has killed 23 persons. The Opposition if in the Assembly would have easily made the government accountable for this accident. The second is the Polavaram issue. A letter by the Center to stop the works rocked the state politics.

While TDP successfully managed to make it as the Center troubling the State issue, YSR Congress would have gone to the extent of portraying that Center has stopped the project due to the wrongdoings of the state government. YSR Congress made this argument in the media but it did not get media attention.

Jagan pointing it out in the Assembly would have got enough media attention. The last one is the Kapu Reservations issue. The crucial bill got passed even without the votes of the Opposition. Any issue raked by the Opposition on this going further will leave YSR Congress with the question why they are not in the house during the bill.
