Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had toured the National Capital last week. The trip happened just a few days before the new hearing of the Chief Minister’s Bail Revocation case. Meanwhile, YSR Congress Ministers have started making claims in favor of Three Capitals.
The statements appeared like the Chief Minister has gone to Delhi to talk to the Central Ministers about Three Capitals. But Political experts feel that it may be a bait to the anti-government media to ensure they do not link the Trip and the bail case. This is a way to deprive an opportunity for the Opposition.
“Three Capitals issue is in the purview of the courts. There is no way the state and central governments can bypass the courts at this juncture. But when CM is in Delhi, the anti-government will naturally talk about Amaravati farmers and will get diverted from the real issue (Bail Revocation Petition),” they opine.
“The Delhi Trip just days before the CBI court beginning the trial is rarely a coincidence. Even if it is a coincidence, it is a perfect opportunity for the media. So, naturally, the Government does not want that. So, the Three capitals is a bait to divert them,” they add.
