Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is continuing his tussle with the Governor.
The Chief Minister, his ministers, and the TRS MLAs have skipped the Governor’s Ugadi event in Raj Bhavan the other day.
The government already created a sensation by skipping the Governor’s address in the recent budget session.
It is obvious that KCR suspects the Governor, a former BJP leader of acting in favor of the saffron party. But then, in the process, is missing a simple logic.
At the end of the day, the Governor is a woman and is a Backward class lady.
This treatment has the chance of sending wrong signals to people.
We have seen the Governor making some sympathy-stirring statements on this issue.
Regardless of Governor’s political affinity, the constitutional post has very limited powers. KCR should not magnify the issue unnecessarily.
This is nothing but giving a chance to BJP be it small or big.
