The other day, AP BJP President Somu Veerraju has attended Open Heart with RK program and asked him crucial questions about the alliances for 2024.
He asked if BJP high command is giving the roadmap, Pawan Kalyan has sought.
“Roadmap will come but we should not hurry. Our focus should be on strengthening the party until this year-end. Only then, we will make a decision on what to do with Jagan based on the conditions,” Somu Veerraju said.
If there is anything Pawan Kalyan should worry about BJP, it is this statement of Somu Veerraju.
Somu Veerraju clearly says Jagan will be given a free run until around sixteen months before the elections. If BJP senses an opportunity in AP then, it will do something about Jagan.
If it did not sense an opportunity in AP, BJP will not do anything.
BJP which is nothing in AP obviously will not lose anything.
But that is not the case with Janasena. Pawan Kalyan can not go on waiting until everything is over.
Unlike BJP in AP, Janasena has ambitions and some strength. If not for coming into power, Janasena can at least play a role in the victory of some party.
It can not sit alongside the fence like BJP and hope something will happen.
For another question, Veerraju almost said that their priority is not allowing Chandrababu to come to power rather than stopping Jagan. That clears the air that defeating Jagan is not at all a priority for BJP.
This attitude of the Saffron Party is a deep concern for Janasena and it coming from the party president himself should worry Pawan Kalyan.
If Pawan Kalyan is serious about politics, probably this should hasten the Janasenani to take a call on severing ties with BJP.
