The CBI has once again issued notices to YSR Congress MP YS Avinash Reddy, who is accused in the murder case of former minister Vivekananda Reddy. The notices said that he should come to the CBI office in Hyderabad on the 6th of this month for an investigation.
CBI officials went to MP’s house in Pulivendula on Saturday night and served notices.
The MP said that he could not come for the investigation on the 6th due to some prior commitments but the CBI clarified that he must come. CBI officials have already interrogated Avinash Reddy twice.
The officials who investigated the MP on January 28 and February 24 quizzed him about many aspects related to Viveka’s murder.
Meanwhile, Avinash Reddy’s father Bhaskar Reddy also got notices from the CBI. He was asked to come for an investigation in Kadapa on the 6th of this month. The CBI officials, who had previously asked him to attend the hearing on the 12th of this month advanced the date and asked him to attend the questioning on the 6th itself.
