Hell broke lose after the Income Tax Department released a Press Statement this Evening over raids on three infrastructure companies in several places of both the Telugu States. They said discrepancies to the tune of 2000 Crore are found. The Press Note also mentions about the raids on the former PS of a Prominent Personality.
Obviously, the Press Note refers to Chandrababu Naidu’s Former Personal Secretary, Pendyala Srinivas. A section of media twisted the news saying that 2000 Crore was unearthed from the Former Personal Secretary of Chandrababu and he will be in trouble very soon.
TDP clarified it a little while ago. The party went on to say that it is no way related to the three infra companies mentioned in the Press Note and only 85 Lakh Rupees were found with the Former PS of Chandrababu to which he will be explaining to the department.
Interestingly, Political Experts say that the Press Note of the Department is also intentionally or unintentionally misleading without proper details. TDP Supporters suspect if that is intentionally written in such a way that Chandrababu is in trouble politically.
