The Story of Stolen Telangana RTC BusTelangana Police is able to solve the mystery of the RTC Bus that was stolen from Gowliguda Bus Stop. The Bus was traced as Scrap in Nanded of Maharashtra the next day. The Police have cracked the case now. Two Brothers who belong to Chilakalguda stole the bus and drove it away.

They sold it to their relative in Bidar for a paltry 60000 Rupees. Five Labourers were hired to quickly dismantle the bus. So far, eight people have been arrested in this case. The accused were later produced before a court and sent to judicial remand.

“Had the police not reached the spot in time, there wouldn’t have been any traces of evidence of the stolen vehicle,” the police revealed in this case. They were able to crack the case using the CCTV Footages at various Toll Gates. The bus was stolen at around 12:03 am on April 24 and first headed towards Toopran and later towards Nanded.

The bus, a Metro Express, reportedly belonged to the Kushaiguda depot, plying the 3K route between Gowliguda and ECIL. The bus had clocked over 8 lakh km and could be started with a starter switch, and not by key ignition, as it was an older model.
