the-mystery-about-jayalalithaa-assets-willTamil Nadu’s deceased beloved leader Jayalalithaa who is also accused in several graft cases has movable and immovable properties worth 113.73 Crore which she declared in her 2016 Election Affidavit. Jayalalithaa was never married and has no dependents.

Unless she left behind a will, her properties will go to the government. AIADMK, the other day, when asked about this will came up with a mysterious answer. They said, “There is No Answer’ leaving no clarity about her will. Among her assets, Jayalalithaa has 14 acres of agricultural land in Medchal village of Malkajgiri district, Telangana.

She also has a commercial complex in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad. These assets will go to Telangana government unless there is a will. All other properties will go to the state governments where they are located. A PIL was filed in Hyderabad High Court the other day to take over the assets.

However, there will be some legal implications involved in taking over the assets since there are cases of disproportionate assets pending in the courts. There are some fears that Jayalalithaa’s close aide, Sasikala or someone will try to lay hands on these properties by creating a Fake Will.
