As the country is celebrating 70th Independence day, terrorists have resorted to an attack in Jammu and Kashmir Capital, Srinagar. Terrorists opened fire injuring five CRPF personnel. The Terrorists are said to be three in number and the firing started exactly when the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hoisting the National Flag at Red Fort, Delhi.
The CRPF and the police had launched a search operation today following specific inputs of terrorist movement in the area. While the security forces surrounded the area and cordoned off the area in a bid to nab the terrorists, they opened fire on the forces injuring them. The Gun fire is still on.
The injured CRPF Personnel are rushed to a nearby hospital. And at the Uri Sector in Baramulla, Security forces gunned down two terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate into India.
