A Telugu Person is contesting on Aam Admi Party President and Delhi’s 49 days Ex-Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal. Kandukuru Sunil Kumar, a native of Venkatachalam, Nellore district has filed his nomination for the New Delhi Assembly constituency as Independent. Sunil’s nomination is also approved. Delhi has more than 10 Lakh Telugu population, we will have to see if Sunil manages to get those votes.
Kejriwal resigned after ruling Delhi for 40 odd days after Aam Admi Party became the single largest party and formed the government with Congress’ help. Delhi will be going to fresh polls on February 7th.
However this elections are mainly seen as battle between BJP and AAP. BJP is more strengthened with the joining of Former IPS and Kejriwal’s former colleague, Kiran Bedi who is now BJP’s CM Candidate. All the exit polls published so far are indicating Modi wave to hit the Capital State too.
