Sridevi Krothapalli is among the ’21 revolutionary youth who have gone against the odds, making positive changes and spreading joy while they do it. The Indo-American is a physics pro and she makes it to the list of changemakers, influencers, activists, and artists who have made a commendable impact in the world.
Sridevi, 17, is already way ahead in her thoughts in terms of science and arts. Her Linkedin profile says she is a senior at Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy who is deeply interested in substance abuse, endocrinology, and astrophysics.
She was selected to attend the Stanford Program for Inspiring the Next Generation of women in physics hosted by the Stanford Physics Department and Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology.
Sridevi wants to make scientific discoveries that would make a difference in the world. Incidentally, she is also the president of a student-led non-profit Kahani, which distributed colorful magazines to kids in hospitals to inspire creativity in them.
