Donald Trump the US President is doing as he promised in his campaign. He promised the American citizens that he would end the practice of Foreigners replacing American workers in their own country. As said during the elections, he made it difficult for the American companies to recruit the foreign employees now.
Trump’s executive order, which makes it real hard for foreigners to get H-1B visas to work in America is creating panic in Indian crowd in US. Obama permitted spouses of H-1B visa holders to work in the country which the new law of Trump is going to strike off.
According to an English tabloid report, a Telugu girl studying at San Jose State University was sent back to Hyderabad after hours of grilling in San Francisco airport. According to the report, her phone was taken away by CBP officials while interviewing. They finally said the course she opted isn’t available now so she had to go back to Hyderabad.
When it comes to H1b Trump’s administration says that, American companies are supposed to hire foreign employees only if they don’t find the talent in their country and that the H-1B visas are actually allotted for special categories like Scientists, engineers and other professional posts, which is being misused by the foreigners.
This order directs the firms to double the salary for H-1B visa holders, which would make the American companies give priority to the Americans while hiring its employees and then comes the turn of foreigners.
