Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi a few days ago announced that he will be building his own team very soon. Loyalists and those who can devote maximum time will be given preference, the party said. Finally, two Telugu Congress Leaders found a place in RaGa’s Team.
Former MP Madhu Yashki Goud from Telangana and Former United AP Minister Sailajanath were taken into the team and were appointed as the Secretaries in AIIC. While Madhu Yashi is always a central man, this is the first central assignment to Sailajanath
Interestingly, Sailajanath tried to join Telugu Desam Party even on the last day for nominations before 2014 elections but that did not happen as Chandrababu did not give him the ticket. Finally, he contested in Singamala on Congress Ticket and lost.
