KakatiyaFor the unversed, a first-year Medical PG student of Kakatiya Medical College is currently in critical condition after she took a dangerous injection following a ragging incident involving her senior, named Saif.

She is currently on ventilator support at the NIMS hospital and this is a burning topic in Telangana now.

Speaking about the same, the Telangana Director of Medical Education, Ramesh Reddy made a few controversial comments.

“Ragging is very common in medical colleges. But it might not have been the case with PG students. Maybe first-year students might’ve faced ragging. Two days before her suicide attempt, we gave her and the senior a counseling session” the DME said.

Netizens are now calling out the DME for his too-casual remarks while a student is fighting for her life following a ragging incident in her college.

Two days before the suicide attempt, she complained about ragging to the principal and he warned the senior about the same. Incidentally, the next day, she took a dangerous injection and collapsed. She is currently fighting for her life. This has caused a huge uproar on ragging culture in educational institutions.
