The Election Commission of India has announced the Schedule for Elections of Five States. Telangana will go for elections on December 7th along with Rajasthan in a Single Phase. Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram will go for elections on November 28 also in a Single Phase. Chhattisgarh is the only state which will go for elections in two phases on 12th and 20th November.

The Model Code of Conduct comes into force in four states from today and in Telangana, it is already in force. November 19th is the last date of Nominations in Telangana. The Scrutiny of Nominations will take place on the next day. November 22nd is the last date for withdrawal of nominations.

The counting of the Elections in all the states will take place on 11th December and results will be out on the same day. Telangana CM KCR dissolved the Assembly with an intention of not giving time for the Opposition to Prepare and he will be delighted with this schedule.

TRS is at the forefront among all parties in terms of Election Preparation having announced 105 candidates out of the total 119 seats in Telangana. The announcement of the candidates for the rest of the 14 constituencies will happen very soon. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had already started addressing Public Meetings in various constituencies in the state.
