Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s Akhanda has been released today to bumper openings irrespective of the talk. The trade is expecting a 10 Crore Share opening from AP and Telangana. The numbers would have been higher if not for the ticket prices issue in Andhra Pradesh.
Akhanda makers have given a 20% discount to the distributors due to this issue. The issue becomes serious as biggies are lined up in the coming days. Star heroes are donating big amounts to AP CMRF to butter the Chief Minister but then, many who know Jagan say it will be a futile exercise.

They say going to court is the only way to come out of the issue. Some theater owners in Telangana have moved the high court and got a price hike for the upcoming biggies. This should be the way in Andhra Pradesh as well to solve the issue or else the movie makers should get ready for losses, experts say.
The theater owners have filed the petition in Telangana and not the filmmakers. The problem, however, is that the industry is fearing more vendetta politics in case they approach the court. But then, they will be left with no option if the government does not budge by the time of Pushpa’s release.
