Telangana's Rythu Bandhu Gets UNO RecognitionTelangana Government’s Rythu Bandhu (Farm input assistance) has got international acclaim and is hailed as a success story by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Rythu Bima and Rythu Bandhu are recognized by UNO as the success stories and will be exhibited at the International Symposium on Agricultural Innovation for Family Farmers.

C Partha Sarathi, Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary to Government Agriculture and Cooperation (Horticulture & Sericulture) Department will represent the Telangana Government at the Symposium and will present about this scheme. The Symposium will happen from 21st to 23rd of this month.

Rythu Bandhu Scheme gives 8000 Annual Assistance per acre to all the farmers (Only Owners) every year. The scheme which benefits 58 Lakh Farmer Families and is the single largest welfare scheme of the TRS Government. TRS already promised to increase it to 10000 per acre if voted to Power once again.
