revanth reddy released on bailTelangana Police have tried their level best to contain the huge welcome rally for Revanth Reddy who released from Cherlapally Jail. The Police had repeatedly warned the TDP cadre stationed at the jail that there is no permission for them to hold a rally and consequences will be severe if they undertake it. They even said that 144 section is in place in Hyderabad and rallies will not be permitted.

Every thing seem to be in control until Revanth Reddy emerged out of jail gate. The crowd which was silent until then suddenly went on a rampage and moved along with Revanth Reddy. The Kodangal MLA stood on a open top jeep and waved to the people. There was a huge traffic jam for about 3 Kilometers when the rally passed. Police decided that they can not control or stop the crowd at that moment and indulged themselves in clearing the traffic.

On the other side, TDP leaders alleged that oral instructions have gone to all the media houses to minimize the media coverage for the rally to as minimum as possible. With the memories of ABN ban most channels obliged too.
