KCR-Learns-Lessons-from-Jagan's-ExperienceTelangana Government had decided to extend the Lockdown till the 29th of this month. The Relaxations given by the Central Government will be applicable to the Orange and Red Zone districts. 100% shops will be opened in villages and Mandal Headquarters. 50% of shops will be opened on alternate days in Municipalities.

But shops will not be allowed to function in Red Zones. Only those shops related to construction will be allowed in Red Zones. Wine Shops across the state except for the fifteen shops in various containment Zones will be operating from tomorrow. A modest 16% Price Hike is going to happen. It has to be seen how efficiently the state would manage.

A Chief Minister level Review meeting will happen on the 15th and the ongoing relaxations will be reviewed. Like in the earlier phases, Telangana becomes the first state to extend the Lockdown beyond the Government of India’s Date. “People in Hyderabad may be upset with me, but I have no other choice. We will observe the situation till May 15 and take a call on our future course of action,” the Chief Minister said.

Meanwhile, eleven new cases have surfaced in Telangana in the past 24 hours. That takes the total number of cases to 1,096. There are 29 deaths so far and 628 patients have discharged, taking the total number of active cases to 439.
