Telangana-May-Have-to-Wait-More-for-its-First-Female-MinisterTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is gearing up for his First Cabinet Expansion by this month-end of the first week of January. Buzz is that there may be just Eight More Ministers in the cabinet along with KCR himself and Mahmood Ali who already took the oath and is given the Home Portfolio.

KTR and Harish Rao may get Cabinet Berths without doubts and there is a race for the rest of the Six Berths. Kadiyam Srihari, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Eetela Rajendra, and Redya Naik are the front-runners. Errabelli Dayakara Rao and Gutta Sukhender Reddy are also expecting a Place in the Cabinet.

Ministers who lost in the recent elections – Jagadish Reddy and Lakshma Reddy are also trying their luck. It has to be seen if Female Ministers will get any chance in this Cabinet Expansion. Padma Devender Reddy may be made the Speaker in case there is no female minister. In case, KCR wants to address the issue, Ajmeera Rekha Naik who won the second time for Khanapur may be given a chance.

If at all KCR decides to solve the issue, Telangana will have its First Woman Minister. But then sources close to the TRS circles tell us that KCR is not taking the issue seriously and in all probability, Telangana may have to wait some more time to have a female representation in the Cabinet.
