Telangana government had unveiled its first ever industrial policy with claims of dealing red tapism and corruption with iron fist. Telangana government had announced a land bank of 1.5 Lakh Acres to industries. The government had proposed a chasing cell in the Chief Minister’s office which will ensure the industries coming to the state get all the required permissions on time.
Telangana government proposed a website where investors can apply for all the permissions. In a bold move, the government also announced 24 hours uninterrupted power supply to industries in Telangana.
The government also promised clearances in 2 weeks for all mega projects and appointing of a one point designated nodal officer. The Chief Minister also announced that the lazy government employees who will be found responsible for delay in giving clearances will be fined One thousand Rupees per every delayed day.
