Telangana Government's First Reaction to Increasing COVID CasesCoronavirus cases are on a rise in Telangana. Since December 31st, today for the first time, the GHMC region has recorded more than 100 Corona cases. Most of them are due to government schools and residential schools turning into super spreaders.

In the wake of the prevailing condition, the state government has decided that other than Medical, all other Educational Institutions from tomorrow will shift to Online Classes. There are reports that government may promote students of Class I to VIII directly without exams.

The government says the situation is perfectly under control but due to raising concerns and the worries of the parents, it has taken this precautionary measure after Maharashtra COVID second Wave. The cases are on a rise in the neighboring Tamil Nadu and Karnataka states as well.

There are rumors of a possible Lockdown or night curfew but the state government has clarified that there are no such plans for now.
