The government says that AP government is planning to allot house sites to its staff in Amaravati and so they will be getting ‘double benefit’ and plans to cancel the same in Hyderabad. These house sites are yet to be registered in the name of these employees which will make things easy for Telangana government.

Previous governments had allotted 173 acres to Secretariat employees in four different locations on the city outskirts. These land parcels now command huge values as they are located in prime areas like Gachibowli, Shamirpet, Neknampur and Gopanpally.
