Kadiyam Srihari was once a very senior leader in TDP and shifted his loyalities to Telangana Rashtra Samiti before the last elections. This is the first face to face meeting between them after the breakup.

Kadiyam reportedly met Chandrababu Naidu is his official position. Telangana government is keen to reopen Ballapur Industrial Limited (popularly known as Warangal Ballapur Reyans factory), that was closed down last year after operating for 35 years. Consequently, several dependant families were left in a lurch. Kadiyam Srihari met Chandrababu Naidu and requested him Eucalyptus Timber available in Andhra Pradesh at 50% subsidy.

While AP sources say Chandrababu Naidu informed him that it may not be possible for the state to supply at 50% subsidy due to severe funds crunch, after the meeting Kadiyam Srihari said to the media that Chandrababu responded positively. This may be the first time Telangana government approached for AP’s help!
