Telangana Government to Protest over Narendra Modi's New LawNarendra Modi’s Anti-Slaughter Law is creating ripples across the country. We have already seen Kerala and West Bengal governments registering their protests over this new rule and now Telangana government has also joined the list.

Concerned Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav remarked that this will be a huge burden for about 85 Lakh farmers who can not send the old, injured and unwell cattle to the slaughter houses. Talasani also remarked that Center should have consulted the states before bringing up such rule.

Telangana government is planning to ask the Center to give exception to the old, injured and unwell cattle from this rule so that they can be sent to the slaughter houses without becoming a burden to the farmers. The law is being objected governments which are keen on Muslim Vote bank. Beef is the staple food of Muslims.
