ivr-krishna-rao-complaint-aAndhra Pradesh Government had brought to the notice of the Union Home Ministry that the Telangana government is harassing the Andhra Pradesh officers in the common capital region. AP chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao complained to Union home secretary Anil Goswami that Telangana government is ‘ill-treating’ and ‘humiliating’ the IAS officers temporarily allotted to the Telangana cadre.

It is said that IYR Krishna Rao had cited the examples of ill treatment to Chandana Rao to the recent controversy in Labour department over illegal transfer of funds. We have learnt that Andhra Pradesh government is pressing its earlier claim to bring Hyderabad under Governor’s rule until the city is the common capital of both the states.

Hours after AP’s complaint, Telangana chief secretary Rajiv Sharma explained the Union Home Secretary that Telangana government did not humiliate any IAS officer nor it intends to. It is now said that Union Home Ministry had decided to convene a meeting of the apex committee to sort out the differences between AP and Telangana
