Telangana Government faces a Setback in Supreme CourtTelangana Government faced a massive setback in its water hunt as Supreme Court struck down its petition over Brijesh Kumar Tribunal sharing of Krishna Waters. Telangana government is arguing that the water should be divided among all the states as the division is faulty when it happened.

Back then, during agitation days, KCR used to allege that United State governments failed to put up proper arguments before the Tribunal. But then the central government had confirmed that the sharing will happen only between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the water allocated to the United State.

Telangana government filed a Special leave petition (SLP) in Supreme court over this decision. But then Supreme Court had struck down the petition. The Supreme Court, however, agreed to look into other petitions. Such verdict when the Assembly session is going on will be troublesome for the government.
