telangana-election-commission--parthasarathy-ghmc-electionThere are serpentine queues outside Mee Seva centers for the Rs 10,000 being given as flood relief by the government. The TRS believes this will be advantageous TRS in the upcoming elections because the government stood by the affected people.

There are concerns that these queues can turn into breeder grounds for COVID-19. nd now, a 56-year-old woman collapsed while standing in a queue to apply for flood relief at Golconda. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was declared brought dead.

The advantage has turned disadvantage to the TRS Government with this news. And on the other side, the State Election Commission wrote a letter to the Government to put on hold the registration and distribution of flood relief to those affected until election results are declared as a model code of conduct in place.

This has disappointed the Ruling Party big time. Meanwhile, the polling for the 150 wards in the GHMC elections will take place on December 1st. Currently, the nominations are being accepted.
