Telangana Congress Postponing The Pandora Box Opening. But How Long?Telangana Congress has released its Second List of Candidates a little while ago. It has announced 10 More names with the new list taking the total names announced till now to 75. Mahakutami has announced candidates to 84 seats so far and candidates for 35 seats are yet to be announced.

A minimum of 17 seats out of the 35 will go to the allies (TDP:6, TJS:8, and CPI:3). The rest of the 18 seats belonging to Congress are likely to open pandora box as the Grand Old Party played it safe so far announcing the non-controversial and less-controversial seats so far.

Interestingly, Congress is maintaining suspense over Janagaon seat. Former PCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah is expecting this seat but there are reports that Congress is keen on fielding Telangana JAC Chairman Professor Kodandaram from here. The other day Kodandaram announced that he may let go the seat as he does not want to snatch away the seat from a Senior leader belonging to BC Community.

Congress still not announcing it for Ponnala is giving rise to new doubts. 19th is the last date for nominations. There is a Sunday holiday as well in between which means effectively there are five days left for the nominations. TJS and CPI not announcing a single candidate indicate that they are still not satisfied with the seat sharing.
