A few days ago, Telangana Congress Senior Leaders attended the Round-Table Conference arranged by Janasena Party against Uranium Mining in Nallamalla Forest. Even the Congress leaders did not like the idea of Party’s Senior Leaders attending a conference by a small party.
But the Senior Leaders did that to be in good books of Pawan Kalyan and his fans. The last week, Congress Senior Leader, V Hanumantha Rao went to Janasena Office and requested Pawan Kalyan’s support to Congress candidate in Huzoornagar. Pawan Kalyan did not give any commitment to Hanumantha Rao.
But, Janasena leaked the news to media and showcased itself as a strong force and the main opposition party is requesting their support. Congress Senior Leaders are disappointed that Pawan Kalyan did not give any commitment but at the same time using them for Janasena Publicity.
The by-poll has been necessitated due to the resignation of state Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy after his election to the Lok Sabha. He had fielded his wife, Padmavathi Reddy as the candidate. The polling will be held on October 21, and the results will be declared on October 24.
