Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is one of the first Chief Ministers to extend support for Demonetization and later repented for it since the entire exercise is mishandled and commoners are troubled. KCR do not want to do the same for GST and share the bad name of any bad implementation.
KCR who is camping in Delhi for his eye operation postponed the same and rushed to Hyderabad. Thus KCR skipped the Midnight GST launch and only TRS MPs have attended. At the same time, KCR do not want to hurt the BJP Top Brass.
TRS MPs have informed the Union Ministers that KCR had even postponed his eye surgery to welcome NDA’s Presidential Candidate, Ram Nath Kovind who will be in Hyderabad seeking the support of TRS, BJP and TDP Lawmakers in his visit on July 3rd.
Many believe that the government is not ready to handle the implementation of GST properly and even the government departments have pressed for the postponement of launch. Everyone are skeptical about this hurried launch and worry if it may bring Demonetization like problems.
