Congress Party had decided to stall the proceedings of the next session of Telangana Assembly. The party had decided that they will not allow the house to function until their demands on farmers suicides are met by the government.
Congress is demanding complete waiver of farmers loans and 5 Lakh ex-gratia to the families in which the suicides happened. The session is likely to happen towards the end of the month.
Telugu Desam Party is also thinking on the similar lines to corner the government. Previously TRS government unleashed suspensions on TDP members to make the house function. We will have to see if they do the same with Congress members too.
