Team India Manages A Sensational Whitewash Against the Proteas

Team-India-Manages-A-Sensational-Whitewash-Against-the-ProteasTeam India has managed to register an emphatic victory over South Africa in the third and final Test to clinch their first-ever series whitewash over the Proteas. This Test series victory includes two tests with innings victory and another with over 200 runs which indicates complete dominance.

As far as the World Test Championship is concerned, India is leading the way with 240 points, and have increased their domination over the next placed New Zealand. Team India will further consolidate its position with the upcoming two-Test home series against Bangladesh from November 14.

Rohit Sharma had a dream debut series as an opener has scored 529 runs with a maiden double hundred in the final Test against South Africa apart from twin hundreds (176 and 127) in Visakhapatnam. Virat Kohli also shined with a century in the second test while the bowlers are thoroughly impressive in the series.

The top two teams at the end of the league will play the final in the United Kingdom in June 2021 and the winners will be crowned as the World Test Champions.
