Team India bowed out of World Cup 2019 after losing the Semifinal with New Zealand. The Kiwis Team is the first team to enter the Finals in this Tournament and this is also their Second Straight Final after 2015. Chasing a total of 240 in a Rain Hit match, India could not cross the line.
The team lost the entire Top Order of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli in just three overs and Dinesh Karthik is also out by the 10th Over. Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya chipped in with some contributions. But the twist in the came only after Ravindra Jadeja’s valiant innings.
India fairly stood a chance with him and Dhoni at the center. Jadeja got out trying to accelerate towards the end and Dhoni’s Runout at the crucial juncture by Guptil was the moment of the match. India rolled out soon after giving 18 Runs Victory for the Kiwis.
The Second Semi-final will happen tomorrow between England and Australia. The winners will play New Zealand on 18th of this month. If New Zealand or England wins the Tournament, this will be their first-ever World Cup.
