APTF (Andhra Pradesh Teachers Federation) withdrew from AP NGO JAC. APTF president and secretaries have resigned from their posts in the JAC. The letter was sent to JAC Chairman Bandi Srinivasa Rao. APTF leaders claimed that the JAC had failed to address their demands.
They say the JAC could not even get simples issues like the abolition of CPS and the additional quantum of pension could not be resolved. They also alleged that the JAC leaders had acted contrary to the sentiments of the employees who came to Chalo Vijayawada and that injustice had been done to the teachers in the PRC.
Leaders of the AP Teachers Federation have made it clear that they will announce their special activity very soon. Meanwhile. the common employees are also fuming at the JAC leaders for compromising with the Government on key issues. On the other hand, the JAC leaders met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and thanked him for his magnanimity.
It is interesting to note that the Teachers Federation claims that they have requested the Ministers’ Committee at least to facilitate a virtual meeting with the Chief Minister but the ministers did not agree.
