Can KCR Stop YSR's Popular Scheme 'Free power to agriculture'YSR Congress will be putting up a candidate in Nandhyala By-election which is necessitated due to the sudden demise of sitting MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy. TDP will certainly field someone from Bhuma family for obvious reasons. Nagi Reddy’s younger daughter, Mounika is the obvious choice.

And now, Nagireddy’s brother, Late Sekhar Reddy’s son – Bhuma Brahmanandha Reddy is also an option doing rounds in the political circles. TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu himself is confused about the candidate’s selections. Choosing Mounika will make the election very easy due to sympathy factor and the lady sentiment.

But then if Brahmanandha Reddy is chosen, the election will not be as easy. But then, both Akhila Priya and Mounika are politically inexperienced. Choosing Mounika will help now but in the long run, it will be difficult for them to lead the party and keep the cadre together.

So, Naidu is confused between short term gains and long term needs. According to the rule, the by-election will happen within six months of the sitting MLA’s demise. YSR Congress is also looking for someone who is a relative of Bhuma to be put up as a candidate.
