It is almost certain that YSR Congress will be putting up a candidate in Nandhyala By-election which is necessitated due to the sudden demise of sitting MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy. TDP will certainly field someone from Bhuma family. Nagi Reddy’s younger daughter, Mounika is the obvious choice.
And now, Nagireddy’s brother, Late Sekhar Reddy’s son – Bhuma Brahmanandha Reddy is also an option doing rounds in the political circles. Brahmanandha Reddy earlier was interested in contesting in Allagadda by-election but Akhila Priya was fielded in the last minute.
He is also the son-in-law of former MLA, Katasani Ramireddy. Bhuma family will decide upon one name and propose it to Chandrababu Naidu who will take the final decision. According to the rule, the by-election will happen within six months of the sitting MLA’s demise.
