Ruling Telugu Desam Party has emerged victorious in most of the by-elections happened to the wards in various municipalities in the state. TDP Candidate managed to win 19th Ward in Gudiwada which is said to be the bastion of YSR Congress MLA, Nani.
Both the sides have taken this election prestigiously. TDP candidates have won empathetically by winning 14 wards out of the total 17 that went for election. YSR Congress just managed to win two of them.
Indepent Candidate managed to win a ward in Macherla.
TDP is jubilant of winning most of the wards while YSR Congress is happy about winning the ward in Capital Area. Having Sitting MLA, Alla Rama Krishna Reddy there helped the party. 20 other wards have already gone unanimously to TDP (20+14).
