Former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal attended the NRI TDP Meet and Greet Program in California. The Andhra Octopus is the Chief Guest for this event and made some interesting comments about who may come to Power in Andhra Pradesh. “People of Andhra Pradesh voted for a leader who does Welfare and Development,” he said.
This is an indirect indication that TDP is coming to Power once again. Lagadapati also went on to say that he will reveal his survey results on May 19th evening. The last phase of General Election concludes that day and the ban on the Exit Polls will be lifted. Lagadapati also said he will reveal on that day why his survey went wrong in Telangana.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not co-operating with Andhra Pradesh just because he fears AP will overtake Gujarat in Development,” Lagadapati alleged. Lagadapati is known for his accurate Surveys particularly regarding the elections in both the Telugu States. But then, he got it horribly wrong in the recent Telangana Assembly Elections.
That has dented his credibility a bit but still, there is a lot of curiosity about his survey results. Due to the Telangana Results, YSR Congress fans will stay relaxed even though his survey is not in favor of them. TDP fans, on the other side, are very relieved with this hint dropped by Lagadapati.
