Telugu Desam Party is heading towards the direction of having two different Presidents for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Until now, the party has only NT Rama Rao and Chandrababu Naidu as its President, but the state division necessitated different Presidents.
It is learnt that Chandrababu will be the National President of the party while there will be two different Presidents for each state. Currently L.Ramana is the working President of Telangana Unit. The announcement of the Central committee and state committee is likely to take place by Mahanadu.
TDP is currently registered as a regional party. A committee is looking at necessary steps to make it a National Party retaining the same symbol in all the states. Chandrababu is also in the process finalizing district Presidents for the party. Already Presidents for four districts are finalized and announced.
