Telugu Desam Party finally started responding to the cornering efforts of AP BJP. BJP leaders Somu Veerraju, Purandhareeshwari, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao are criticizing their alliance partner more than the opposition parties.
Chandrababu Naidu controlled his men on this issue as he do not want to stain the relations with the saffron party as the state is in the dire need of center’s support. However the recent Kapu rift created by Hari Rama Jogaiah’s book is being extensively publicized by Kanna irked the ruling party.
In the last couple of days we have seen TDP leaders – MLC Rajendra Prasad, Buddha Venkanna giving a strong retort to BJP leaders. Buddha Venkanna made serious allegations that these former Congress leaders are Sonia’s secret agents in BJP. This morning, the party’s special representative Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad also ridiculed Purandhareeshwari behaving as a CAG officer. Given that both the parties are on a rampage, we will have to see how their future relations pan out.
