TDP tops the attendance charts in Parliament as the party MPs have registered almost 85% attendance. TDP is followed by Biju Janata Dal and Trinamool Congress. The ruling BJP is placed fourth with 81% attendance and main opposition party, Congress is at Sixth with 78%
Thota Narasimham, TDP MP from Kakinada has got 100% attendance along with four others. Coming to the least, AP Jitendra Reddy from TRS, representing Mahabubnagar is the MP with third lowest attendance. His attendance percentage is just 9%.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently expressed his displeasure over low attendance levels of BJP MPs in Parliament sessions. Modi said that he might call any BJP MP anytime to check if they were attending the House sessions regularly or not.
