TDP’s Pattabhi Tortured By AP Police?Strangely enough, the police arrested TDP’s Pattabhi, Donthu Chinna, and 11 others following the attack on TDP office in Gannavaram yesterday.

Incidentally, Pattabhi’s wife had been stating that he had been missing since the Gannavaram riot yesterday and threatened to sit on indefinite hunger strike if she isn’t provided the details of Pattabhi’s whereabouts.

Hours later, the AP police bought Pattabhi, Donthu Ramesh and the 11 other arrested TDP leaders to Gannavaram court. This happened just a short while ago.

While arriving at the court, Pattabhi alleged custodial torture by the police as showed his swollen forehand to the media.

TNTUC AP chief, Gottimukkala Raghu Rama Krishna Raju alleged that Pattabhi was brutally beaten by the police and he was transferred from one station to the other yesterday. He added that Pattabhi was blindfolded and beaten by three individuals.

Pattabhi’s wife, Chandana also alleged that he was brutally tortured by the police.

The incident has caused a huge uproar as everyone’s concerned about the state of law and order in Andhra Pradesh.
