In a shocking incident in the Andhra Pradesh assembly today, YCP MLAs attacked TDP’s Dalit MLA Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, TDP party alleged. This comes just days after the defeat in the graduates MLC elections.
Going into the story, Dola was questioning the YCP government about the controversial G.O. No. 1 which oppresses political parties in the state.
TDP MLAs told the media that the YCP MLAs then started attacking the Dalit MLA in the assembly. Another TDP MLA Buchhaiah Chowdary was also attacked, they claimed.
TDP’s Atchannaidu said this is the first time something like this happened in the assembly where an MLA is attacked by the ruling party MLAs who operated like goons. He added that 75-year old MLA Butchaiah was also attacked by YCP MLAs.
Following the incident, Nara Lokesh stated that Jagan’s motive is to only attack Dalits in the state and the attack on Dalit MLA in assembly today shows the same.
Chandrababu pointed out that this is the first ever time an MLA was attacked in the assembly and this is the state of affairs under Jagan’s regime. He added that the defeat in MLC polls has made Jagan a mad man and that is showing in today’s attack on the TDP MLA.
