TDP has called for Coordination meeting with State BJP Leaders on 24th of this month. This meeting is to convince them to exert pressure on their high command to put up the bill to increase the assembly seats in the ongoing Parliament session.
BJP leaders will be explained the benefits the party will get if the seats are increased. Both the parties will also come to an understanding about the seat sharing in the next elections. Union Minister Sujana Chowdary will be taking up the issue with Amit Shah.
Chandrababu Naidu will take up the issue with the BJP Top Brass when he goes to Delhi on 25th for the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Ram Nath Kovind. Union Home and Law Ministries have cleared the bill and only a political decision is pending.
