TDP and BJP Divorce in January?Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu seems to be growing restless over the callousness of the Central Government towards the state. After going back on promises like Special Status and Capital City Assistance, BJP is trying to block Polavaram Project as well.

While Naidu is trying to speed up the project spending money from the state exchequer even if it is a National Project, Center is writing letters and issuing Stop Work Orders on various issues applying brakes to the project construction.

Chandrababu announced that if they are not willing to co-operate, he will leave greeting them with folded hands (Namskaram Petti Vachestha). Speculations are rife that Chandrababu is considering pulling out of the alliance may be in January after meeting the Prime Minister for one last time.

The Public Sentiment in Andhra Pradesh is against BJP for a long time but Chandrababu is continuing with them hoping that they will do some hand-holding. But, the center is only keen on creating more troubles to the state and that may have forced Chandrababu to take a tough decision.
