TDP-BJP-alliance-delayed-du

The much talked about alliance between Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party is not official even today. BJP’s unconditional support to Telangana Bill in the parliament pushed the alliance in to cold storage for all these days. But with elections fast approaching, it is becoming important for both the parties to take on their common enemy, Congress. However it is said recently joined Union Minister and NTR’s daughter Purandhareeswari for the delay of the alliance.

While joining in the party, BJP high command promised Purandhareeswari MP seat from Vishakapatnam, Vijayawada or Narasaraopeta. TDP on the other side promised Vishakapatnam MP seat to Ghanta Srinivasa Rao and Narasaraopeta is TDP sitting MP constituency. On the other side, Vijayawada is a stronghold of TDP and its candidate Kesineni Nani has started working there from several months. So, TDP is not interested to allot any of these seats to Purandhareeswari. This is the issue between both the parties before announcing the alliance.
