The state unit are planning to bring Modi for a public meeting in November – December after Bihar elections. This visit of Modi is on cards for a long time but did not materialize for a long time.

However this visit will depend on BJP’s fortunes in Bihar elections. The visit will be cancelled if BJP loses there. Earlier Modi was to address a massive public meeting Hyderabad in March this year, but it was cancelled due to BJP’s defeat in Delhi.

TDP-BJP combine won 14 out 24 assembly seats in the city in 2011 elections, bagging 39 per cent votes polled as against the ruling TRS party’s 27 per cent vote share. They hope the combination once again brings a massive victory in GHMC elections.
