srilakshmi-ias-officerSenior IAS Officer, Yerra Sri Lakshmi who went to jail in the Obulapuram mining case and faced interrogation in Jagan’s quid-pro-quo cases is all set to get a key posting in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office. Sri Lakshmi was initially allotted to the Telangana cadre after the state division.

She had to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal to change to Andhra cadre. The ruling came in her favor and she reported to her duty to the General Administration Department on Friday. For the sacrifices she made, Jagan is keen to appoint her in a key posting in the CMO.

It is interesting to note that Sri Lakshmi stood silent when Chandrababu Naidu is in power and has been trying to get to the AP cadre immediately after Jagan coming to power. She was accused of criminal conspiracy and abusing her official position to favor the OMC in her capacity as then secretary, industries and commerce.

The IAS officer is still out on bail in the cases and has been attending the court every now and then.
